Nicotine salt e-liquid is designed to provide smoother nicotine delivery than traditional freebase nicotine. It works best in refillable pod systems and low-wattage devices, offering quick nicotine satisfaction with a comfortable throat hit.

Nicotine salt provides a smoother inhale at higher nicotine strengths and is intended for pod systems. Freebase nicotine is commonly used at lower strengths in higher-powered vape kits, producing a stronger throat hit and more vapour.

VG (Vegetable Glycerin) produces vapour, while PG (Propylene Glycol) carries flavour and throat hit. Most nicotine salt e-liquids use balanced VG/PG ratios to provide consistent flavour, smooth airflow and reliable performance in pod systems.

A 50VG/50PG ratio is the most common choice for nicotine salt e-liquids because it wicks efficiently in refillable pod systems while maintaining excellent flavour and coil performance. Some brands also offer 40VG/60PG formulations for slightly stronger flavour and faster wicking.

Most nicotine salt e-liquids are designed for pod systems operating between 10W and 30W with coils ranging from approximately 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω. Always follow the recommended wattage printed on your pod or coil for the best flavour and coil lifespan.

Nicotine salt e-liquids are designed for refillable pod systems and low-power vape devices using higher-resistance pods or coils. Popular options include pod kits from Vaporesso, UWELL, OXVA, VOOPOO and other refillable MTL devices.

Nicotine salt is generally not recommended for high-powered sub-ohm devices. Because sub-ohm kits produce significantly more vapour per puff, they can deliver more nicotine than intended when paired with high-strength nicotine salt e-liquids.

Lower-resistance coils (such as 0.4Ω–0.6Ω) operated at higher wattages produce warmer vapour, stronger flavour intensity and larger clouds. Higher-resistance coils (such as 0.8Ω–1.2Ω) at lower wattages deliver a tighter MTL draw, cooler vapour, improved battery life and more efficient nicotine delivery. Always use the wattage recommended by your device manufacturer.

Store nicotine salt e-liquids in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. After opening, keep the bottle tightly sealed and enjoy it as fresh as possible. Exposure to air over time may gradually oxidize the nicotine, causing slight changes in flavour and colour.
